#1 I Started Blogging: What Content Did I Share? What Job Have I Worked on Before? What are my 2023 Goals?
Hello,
I started blogging.
Since I started blogging, my small newsletter audience has grown to 38 people. It's going pretty well right now. I strive to do quality work. I am researching and learning. I want to be the world's best blog on Micro SaaS.
I will not be sharing newsletters every week. As the content I write on the blog increases, I will share a newsletter about what I wrote. Since I am trying to maximize the quality, the content writing time may be a bit too long. If I am successful in a field other than these, or if I make a new product, then I will publish a newsletter.
I Earned My First Dollar From This Blog! π₯³
I earned my first dollar for the blog I'm currently writing. (ugurkilci.com/blog) I talked about something very important in the blog named βLifesaving Advice for Micro SaaS Foundersβ and created a very simple Notion Template for this topic. This template is $0, but you can pay if you want. And one of my readers paid $3. π I'm so happy. It fired me up even more. The first thing that came to my mind was to create a calendar for Micro SaaS creation. This may take some time to make. I will present the same. It's free but you can pay for it. I will leave it to the discretion of the individual. :)
Blog Posts I've Written So Far
Notable Tweets
I'm trying to use Twitter as it deserves. I try to tweet every day. The most important of these tweets is that I prepare images on the subject of Micro SaaS and share them at a certain time every day.
I also do #buildinpublic posts. (I just realized I misspelled the product name. dlfgjdlfgkj)
Why Did I Start Blogging?
Last time I had a co-founder. We had set up Micro SaaS. We made over $1000. While doing the project with him, I was working as a software team leader in a project in partnership with Unicef and the Turkish Ministry of National Education. I couldn't work at full performance with two jobs. :/ So I had to part with my partner so that the product could live on. He is currently developing the product alone. He may find another partner in the future. No problem. I wanted to share what I know about Micro SaaS. Of course, this is not the only reason. I want to make a living doing SaaS. And I saw that I can do it. That money was deposited in my bank. The pleasure it gave was great. I want more. But for that, I need a partner who understands marketing. Or we can solve the marketing problem in a different way. π
I learned a lot while working with my ex-partner. The thing that taught the most was βthe understanding of doing quality workβ. I have 4900 subscribers on YouTube. I make Turkish software videos. I always have had the desire to teach. That's why I wanted to share what I know and market myself. In this way, I could focus on innovation without having to make extra efforts to sell the products. And you are reading this article right now.
Is There a New Project?
I have a project in mind right now. I started doing research for him. I'll let you know if there's any progress.
What Are My 2023 Goals?
In fact, you can see it on the cover of my Twitter profile. I wanted to do 2 things that I love, I did one, but later on, I thought it might be very unnecessary. π (see: jointoplist.com) It's too early to make the 2nd product.
I want to develop 3 Notion tools. Because I know that area because I have developed it before.
I'm considering selling my 4 products on MicroAcquire.com. Can I exit 4 this year? I don't know but I'll try this.
Finally, I want to enter 2024 as a millionaire. Although I am not a dollar millionaire, I can enter as a Turkish Lira millionaire. :) I can achieve this with a solid 1 exit. I have a product in mind that I'm considering exiting. API Maker. It is a product that you can make an API with Notion, but it does not fully work. I couldn't keep up with the speed of Notion updates. :) I'm going to fix this and improve it a bit and relaunch it on ProductHunt. After 2-3 months, I plan to exit. So I have to make a quality product.
Quality, quality, quality!
If 2023 was a word for you, what would it be, I would say "quality"!
